Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza, born on June 26, 1984, is a comedian and actor recognized for her dry sense of humor. April Ludgate plays her on Parks and Recreation. The show's debut was The Jeannie Tate Show which is a web series after performing sketch comedy and improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. She continued her career with guest appearances on Funny People by Judd Apatow and Scott Pilgrim, in vs. World. It is fitting to celebrate her birth this day. Aubrey Christina Plaza was born in Wilmington Delaware the daughter of the lawyer Bernadette Plaza and the financial Specialist David Plaza. Their father was Puerto Rican while her mother is Irish as well as English. Plaza received a degree from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and was a Catholic all-girls college in 2006, after graduation in 2002. In her senior year of high school, she was president of the student council at her Catholic all-girls school and took part in Wilmington Drama League performances. Plaza was struck by a stroke in 2004 while enrolled at college. She was diagnosed with expressive aphasia. She also experienced an ephemeral period of paralysis. She has now recovered. Plaza has been performing sketches and improv at the New York City's Upright Citizens Brigade Theater back in 2004. The New York location has seen Plaza done stand-up comedians in The Improv as well as the Laugh Factory. Plaza appeared in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street & The Jeannie Tate Show playing the character as Robin Gibney and was also on the show as Ben Schwartz, as well being a character on Robin Gibney for the premiere episode of Terrible Decisions. In CollegeHumor Troopers, she played a satirical science-fiction character called The Princess. Plaza's saxophone debut was in the film Cassorla Bona Fide, 2014. She first appeared in Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings in 2012. In 2012, as Hawaiian Coffee, she appeared in The HarmonQuest's HarmonQuest 2016 as a Gnome. In addition, she played Aaron Burr in Drunk History, and Cat Adams for Season 11 of C.B.S. the television series Criminal Minds. In the 12th season, she had a great comeback on the part. Following that the role was officially confirmed Plaza would be appearing in the independent comedy An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn.
